Inquiry:

Scheduled Classes for Winter-Spring 2015: Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Meerschaert House, 3rd floor.

Do you ever ask yourself What am I looking for in life? What is the meaning of my life? How can I be a better person? What can I do about the loneliness I feel? How can I come to know God’s love? How can I know the right path God has in store for me?

If you are asking these questions, or questions like them, The Catholic way of life awaits you. For centuries, people have turned to the Church to find the answers to the deepest and hardest questions of everyday life.

Are you interested in finding out more about what Catholics believe and how to become a Catholic? Seekers are welcome to come.

Our Father’s Plan:

Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the Meerschaert House, 3rd floor. You could open up the Bible and start reading; but do you know where to start? Scott Hahn and Jeff Cavins will deal with this throughout the series as they discuss how to read the Bible in chronological order while telling us what the Bible is saying. It is important to know it’s a book of history.

You can’t just open it up and start reading. It doesn’t read like a novel. They will show how to read the Bible in Chronological order. Hahn and Cavins walk through salvation history from Genesis to the Catholic Church using the chronological narrative of the Bible.

This has been one of the most popular series ever featured on EWTN television. It is easy-to-follow, yet amazingly deep. There is a cost of $11.00 for the study guide.

Lectio Divina:

Fridays at noon in the Meerschaert House, 3rd floor. Join us as we deepen our connection to the Sunday Liturgy and allow God to speak to us through His Word. How? A small group will meet to meditate on upcoming Sunday readings.

This way of study, Lectio Divina, enables us to find the spiritual rhythm of the liturgy and to enter into our relationship with the Trinity in a deeper and more intentional way. The only cost is the purchase of a Sunday Missal for $4.00 from the parish office.
